An assessment can be carried out to help us understand your difficulties, how they have developed and sometimes consider relevant past experiences. We develop an understanding of you in the context of your difficulties. From this assessment, we are able to develop a treatment plan that will help you to move forward.
We work together to develop an understanding of the difficulties you may be experiencing, how these are maintained and develop strategies to help you overcome these.
I provide a safe space for you to think about and explore what is happening for you and how you would like things to be different. Initially we discuss what has brought you to seek help, I can explain the way we could work together. It may be possible that an alternative therapy may suit your needs better and I can support you to find alternative help.
